Romance ReDrawn- Why You Should Be Excited for One Piece: World Seeker

Bandai Namco’s One Piece: World Seeker, is the latest in a long line of One Piece related games. But how is this one any different from the rest? Why should you be freaking out right now? Well if you know anything about the series manga or anime, then you know this is the hottest export out of Japan. The anime and manga has a gigantic  following and the franchise has started to expand from just the television and game medium to live plays and even live action TV shows( airing in Japan of course). This influx of new One Piece content overflows most earnestly in this newest release. Famous YouTuber Rogersbase, who is also a huge OP fan, gushes in his live reaction to the Jump Fiesta teaser trailer for the new game, watch it here:

There has been over 40 One Piece games spanning years and consoles. Some of the newer releases like J Stars Victory VS, Unlimited World, Unlimited World: Red and Burning Blood showed gamers that they can relive Luffy and crew’ s exploits in the most awesome ways possibleDeveloper Ganbarion, a long time collaborator with Bandai Namco for OP releases, seems to be upping their game (pun-intended) with each release; and this one proves the rule rather than the exception.

From the trailer and these shots we can see the beautiful look of the game, which is slated to be released some time soon this year. Here’s hoping that they make what they have accomplished thus far even better by release day.

More to come…
